Cady Aqua Control ApS (CAC) manufactures vortex flow regulators for the regulation of rainwater and wastewater for sewer, overflow constructions, and basins for use in industrial and residential areas.
The regulators work comparably to the previously known products on the market for water brakes, but they are indeed different because we are able to mass-produce the brake now, which has significantly shortened the delivery time. The reason behind this is a system comprised of loose orifice that after the calculation of the capacity is performed it is mounted onto the brake.
The RS rainwater regulator’s advantages comprise a unique coupling system with three functions. One of the advantages is having the possibility of regulating the capacity without rebuilding the regulator by using loose inlet and outlet orifice. Standard models are available from 0.3 l/s to 40 l/s. The brake can be inspected on site where it most often will be submersed in water without assistance.
The RW type wastewater regulator’s advantages are straight passages that make it easier to mount the brake in constructions. There is a loose inlet orifice that can be mounted/replaced after installation, for instance if the brake has to change capacity. Standard models from 5 l/s to 275 l/s.
The use of standard models makes it now possible to offer prompt delivery.
CAC’s loose orifice system is registered under the user model BR 200 400 326 and the regulators have been tested at the FORCE Institute in Denmark, which can document its capacity at 3 different water currents and at 3 different heights in order to determine the u-value. This ensures a very precise dimensioning that provides customers with the knowledge and confidence that the product is safe.
The regulators can be directly ordered from us. We also handle the shipping of the regulator to the customer. The delivery time is approx. 2 weeks.
It is also possible for customers to have the brake in stock by using the loose orifice for inlet and outlets. In order to find the correct capacity the customer must look at the table to see which water brake is to be used in the actual situation. When the customer has chosen a water brake, he or she then calls/mails/faxes Cady Aqua Control and states l/s and water column meter. We calculate and manufacture the two orifices for the inlet and the outlet and send them to the customer, who then in turn mounts them in the water brake him or herself. If he or she wants to change the capacity after the installation, i.e. recycle a brake, we calculate the size of the new diaphragm and forward this to the customer. The above-mentioned information applies to the RS type, as well as some extent to the RW.
CAC can also deliver a regulator to be used where there is an enormous amount of water and a low water column, for instance 150 l/s at a water column of 1 meter. This type is called FBV (Flow Braking Valve), which can be used from 10 l/s up to 4500 l/s with stowage heights beginning at 0.3 meters.
CAC’s regulators are made of stainless steel grade 1,4404/316L which is acid-pickled after processing.
